Know How to Register/Activate Your Product
Registering your new eScan license
To register your new eScan license key, click on Start, then on Programs > eScan for Windows > eScan Registration.
The License Information of eScan window is displayed.
Alternatively, the window can be accessed by right clicking on the 
shield in the notification area task bar
then on Open eScan Protection Center > Product Key
Step 1
Enter the 30-character License key (Standard Key) in the Enter License Key text box which you have received on purchasing the eScan software and then click Apply.
Step 2
After entering a valid license key, you will get the following screen with the option to register either immediately or you can choose to register later. Note that to protect your license from misuse, your eScan product needs to be registered within the period mentioned on screen. If you want to register immediately please click Register Now and jump to Image 6 to proceed with the activation or click Ok to register later.
Step 3
Here you will see screen with the message that your license key has been updated. Click OK to continue.
Step 4
On clicking OK, the following Registration Information window will be displayed.

Here, your license key and the registration status are displayed. Now, select the 30-character License key displayed in the column License Key. The Activate Now button on the License Information window should now be enabled. Click the Activate Now button to continue.
Step 6
Click on the radio button 'I want to activate online' and fill in all the details and click on Activate button to continue. If you select the Online option, please ensure that the system is connected to the Internet.
Step 7
If you are connected to the Internet, the Activation steps exit and you will be able to view the License Information as shown in Step 10. In case the Online activation or Internet connection fails, you will receive the below mentioned error window. You can choose to try and activate eScan again by clicking YES or NO. Proceed to Step 8 if you click on NO.
Step 8
In case you click NO, the details provided by you will automatically get composed in the form of a text file named 'Online Register'. This file basically contains the details that were filled using the Registration Wizard. You will need to attach and send the file to register@escanav.com
Step 9
A 60 character activation code will then mailed back to you once we receive the above mentioned details. Once you receive the Activation Code via eMail, click Star | Programs | eScan for Windows | eScan Registration. Follow Step 5.
The Online Activation window is then displayed (like the one shown below).Here, select I have Activation Code and enter the 60-Character Activation Code Activation Code in the Enter Activation Code textbox and click ACTIVATE.
Step 10
You can now view the 'License Information' with the activated 'Registration Status'. Here the Contract Period column indicates the time period till which your eScan license key is valid.
