eScan @ CAN SofTech 2014 Nepal

eScan, along with its authorised distributor Phoenix Trading, had participated in CAN SofTech 2014, a major 4-day IT event that was held during 11 - 14 September 2014 in Kathmandu. In this
event eScan showcased its home security product range, which included Universal Security Suite, the newly launched product. To educate people on safe use of computer, a PC health check-up camp was also set up. Additionally, customers were rewarded with exciting gifts like – silver coins, eScan branded mugs & t-shirt on eScan purchase. Approximately 150000 visitors attended this event. Overall, eScan received an overwhelming response.
Social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin continue to be the top attack vectors due to the increasing number of users and the amount of personal information that is shared on these platforms. JP Morgan Chase Hack Attack – The Analysis
Not just JP Morgan Chase, but at least four other banks were struck by hackers in a series of well-planned and coordinated attacks recently. This was according to the people briefed on an ongoing investigation into the perpetrated crimes. The hackers not just infiltrated the networks of the banks but also successfully siphoned off with Gigabytes of data, including the savings and checking account information.

From quite some time we have been hearing about hackers who have leaked explicit photos of various Hollywood celebrities which were uploaded on the Internet. There has been an assumption that some photos were stolen directly from celebrities’ accounts in the Apple’s iCloud. However, the question arises, was iCloud systems actually breached or users individual accounts were hacked?
